Cabin Rules:

  • No smoking is allowed in the cabins.
  • No pets unless prior approval is given by BHRC.
  • Open campfires and fireworks are not permitted in the Black Hills.
  • Please, obey all speed limits within the residential neighborhoods.
  • Do not flush any feminine hygiene products, baby wipes or paper products down the toilets as this will cause severe damage to our septic systems.
  • Please, be careful when opening and closing the hot tub lid to not cause any damage to the lift system.
  • If snow or ice has built up on the hot tub lid during your stay, please do not tear the lid by using a shovel or ice pick, as this causes water to leak in when damaged.
  • A $78.00 cleaning fee is charged at the time of your reservation. However, before checking out, you are required to do the minimal cleaning of the following: wash and put away all used dishes, dispose of garbage in designated receptacles, place used towels in bathroom tub or shower, and return furniture to its original place. If we find the minimal cleaning not done, we are authorized to charge additional cleaning fees. Thank you!

Policies and Procedures:

  • The first half of the rental amount is due and payable at the time of the booking and is NON-REFUNDABLE. The total payment includes 5.5% South Dakota sales tax. The last half of the rental payment is due 7 days prior to the check-in date and is NON-REFUNDABLE. In lieu of a monetary refund, we will offer a change of reservation dates for any cancellations.
  • For Sturgis Motorcycle Rally rentals, the last half of the rental payment is due June 1.
  • Security Deposit: BHRC does not charge a security deposit in addition to the rental amount. However, a valid credit card is required as the damage/security deposit in case damage to the premises occurs. No charges are placed on the credit card unless there is damage to the cabin or its contents, phone or pay-per-view charges or excessive cleaning is required.
  • Check-in and Check- out Times: Check-in time is 3:00pm MST and check-out time is 12:00pm MST.
  • Amenitites: All cabins are equipped to provide enough towels, linens, bedding and kitchen supplies for the maximum occupancy specified.
